THE HISTROY OF RMMP & PRSPIX

Ringo Madlingozi, who is a renowned South African musician and producer, founded RINGO MADLINGOZI MUSIC PRODUCTIONS (PTY) Ltd aka RMMP in 1998.  At the time of its conception, its main role was to manage Ringo Madlingozi, the artist and to take care of his music business needs.  RMMP took care of publishing, music production and live performances for Ringo.  As the company grew, and other artists were recognising the efforts and fruits borne by the company, a need arose for the company to accommodate those artists, who were hoping to get the same management and marketing as Ringo got.  That led to the birth of PR SPIX MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT (PTY) Ltd.

PR Spix is the marketing and management wing of the PR Spix-RMMP merger.  The name PR Spix originated from the first names of its founder members, i.e. the initials P and R.  The last part of the name Spix, reflects what the company does for its artists, i.e. the company is the mouthpiece of its artists.

·       Create awareness about our artists by making use of the following:

o        Print media

o        Electronic media

o        Live and recorded performances

·         Create a unique artist image and branding of our artists

·         Negotiate fair performance deals

·         Coach artists with presentation skills and on how to maintain a professional, but artistic image

·          Negotiate endorsement deals and create merchandise that is in line with the image of the artist
